Schools Program

Welcome to Cronulla RSL, where community engagement and support extend beyond the confines of our club walls.

We are proud to introduce our School Portal, a platform designed to foster meaningful connections with local schools. Here, our local Cronulla Schools can easily register their interest and apply for support and to participate in various Club initiatives. Whether it's funding for educational programs, accessing educational materials about Cronulla’s history, or registering interest for collaborative community projects, our School Portal is a gateway to Cronulla RSLs deep-rooted commitment to serving and supporting the local community.

We look forward to building enduring relationships that contribute to the growth and well-being of our local schools and the broader community.

Snacktember

Throughout September, we call on our local schools to help reduce waste and feed hungry kids by collecting unwanted snack and pantry items and dropping them to Cronulla RSL.

We will arrange for these food donations to be redistributed to children in need, through Hopefield & the Community Co-op.

Since it started, Snacktember has collected over 750 kgs of snacks to share with the disadvantaged and those facing food insecurity. These collections have helped to contribute to the delivery of more than 500 meals for hungry kids.

About the Cronulla RSL Schools Program

Our club consistently strives to make a positive and lasting impact. Cronulla RSL has long been a pillar of the local community, supporting Cronulla and the local area through sport, schools, social groups and charitable organisations for 70 years.

Over the years, the Cronulla RSL School Scholarship Program has assisted local students further their academic, sporting, or artistic endeavours, by providing scholarships to help fund extracurricular activities. We are proud of the positive impact the program has had on these students.

As part of our ongoing dedication to our community, we have undertaken a comprehensive review of our longstanding commitment to supporting local schools, to ensure it remains impactful, relevant, and beneficial.

In our effort to make the program even more effective and aligned with the evolving needs of schools in our community, we have identified enhancements which may be more specific to the needs of your school and can provide greater support for educational initiatives that have a meaningful impact on our students.

Cronulla RSL has numerous avenues through which we can support local schools, beyond traditional monetary donations. By engaging actively with the educational community, offering mentorship, sharing resources, and fostering a culture of learning and development, we feel Cronulla RSL can play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience of students in the area.
