Runners Unite for (Mo)re Than A Run, Raising Over $10,000 for Men’s Mental Health
The wet weather didn’t dampen spirits as local running clubs and the Sutherland Shire community came together in Cronulla on Saturday, November 30, 2024, for (Mo)re Than A Run. Participants ran 60km, 30km, or 10km to support Movember and raise awareness for men’s health.
Powered by Lululemon, the initiative unites the running community nationwide as part of a decentralized event. Runners from across Australia participated simultaneously in different locations, all for the same vital cause.
In the Sutherland Shire, runners started at Cronulla Park and completed their epic journeys at the Cronulla RSL car park, where they were welcomed with post-run refreshments courtesy of Cronulla RSL, Shire Fresh, Catering HQ, and other generous sponsors.
The incredible Cronulla (Mo)re Than A Run team also hosted a raffle during the event, adding to the day’s fundraising success. This year’s efforts exceeded expectations, raising over $10,000 for men’s mental health.
