Cronulla RSL are proud to be the Major Event Partner of the Sutherland Shire Council’s Australia Day Long Weekend.
Commencing with a sunset cultural ceremony and including major concerts, outdoor cinemas and pool parties at our Leisure Centres, the Sutherland Shire Council are delivering an epic program for our community over three days.

Sunset Cultural Ceremony: You’re invited to listen and learn about First Nations culture and storytelling at our Sunset Cultural Ceremony. Come along and enjoy an evening of reflection and join in the yarning circles, support local First Nations stallholders and a delicious Sutherland Rotary BBQ.

Cronulla Concert and Fireworks: Don’t miss our iconic beachside concert featuring headline performers Jon Stevens will be headlining the concert, together with Paulini, Isaiah Firebrace, the Royal Australian Navy Band and local Nicola De Sensi concluding with a spectacular firework display over Cronulla beach.

Cronulla Vibes Concert: Enjoy performances from a host of talented local musicians while watching the sun set over the beautiful Cronulla Beach. BYO picnic and low chairs/blankets and sit back and enjoy the Sounds of the Shire.

The best way to spend Australia Day long weekend is at Cronulla RSL, we have something for everyone. Starting Thursday evening with our fabulous Mega Raffle which includes Cronulla beach butcher vouchers, Wish gift Cards and alcohol packs Drawn at 6:30pm.
Australia Day we will have some fun activities for the kids as well as the adults with thong throwing, lamington eating and a pie eating competition.
Then Deck happy 6-8pm. Saturday evening watch the sunset while enjoy a delicious cocktail with our Deck happy Hour 6-8pm then DJ in the sunroom from 8:30 pm.
Sunday we have the tunes of iconic Mark Travers filling the sunroom from 2pm , Deck Happy hour 3-5, ending the day with our wish gift card raffle drawn at 6pm.
