Remembrance Day 2024
On Monday 11th November at 11am, our community gathered in Monro Park, Cronulla to acknowledge, honour and remember those who served our country in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
This year marks 110 years since the start of the First World War, in what was Australia’s costliest conflict. After four years of continuous fighting, the guns in the Western Front fell silent on 11 November 1918.
Together, we paused to reflect, pay our respects, and express our gratitude. Lest we forget.
