Cronulla RSL Support Cronulla Crays Learn2Swim Program

Cronulla RSL are proud to support the Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club, Cronulla Cray Nippers Learn 2 Swim program for children U6-U7.

Cronulla Beach Swim School will work with the club’s littlest nippers across 12 sessions to assess their skill levels, build confidence and develop critical water safety knowledge as these nippers grow into future Cronulla SLSC life savers and potential Ironmen and Ironwomen.

This program will run on alternating weekends during the season, where the children will rotate between activities at Gunnamatta Bay and/or the indoor heated swimming complex.

Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club is one of the oldest in Australia, commencing in 1907. It was the first of the Shire’s four surf clubs that now patrol our Bate Bay beaches during the summer season alongside Council lifeguards.

The Cronulla Crays (Nippers) program is fun, engaging and educational that runs throughout Summer. It promotes fitness, friendships, surf skills, water/surf awareness and life saving.

They have two registration and proficiency days coming up for the upcoming 2022/23 Season:

Sunday 28th August @ 12-4pm

Saturday 10th September @ 12-4pm

In addition to the U6-U7 program, the club holds sessions for older older age groups which include life saving activities, fitness and surf confidence/skill building programs.

⁃ Session 1 : U8-10s @ 8am - 9.30am

⁃ Session 2 : U11-14s @ 10 - 11.30am

Cronulla SLSC Nippers season commences on 9th October 2022.
