Join Cronulla Sub-Branch for a day of commemorative community competition. This year, the Jeffrey Cup Premiers, the Burraneer Hammerheads will take on Combined Forces Rugby to battle it out for the Shield of Remembrance, which has been donated by Cronulla Sub-Branch.

Sport and rugby in particular is a big part of the culture in our military service. The Combined Forces club was set up as an avenue for current and ex-serving veterans to bring together the veteran community and strengthen community ties through rugby.
On the day we will have a short ceremony followed by what will be a great match. There will be some face painting on for the kids, canteen and bar will be on so bring the family for what will be a great day.
Donations accepted on entry will go toward @cronullarslsb to further develop great local initiatives that support veterans and their families.

This day wouldn’t be possible without the support of South’s Rugby Club for use of their venue and hospitality, NSW Suburban Rugby Union for guidance in planning and general support and Haime Group who has provided some much needed sponsorship for the event.
