Sutherland Shire Radio, 2SSR 99.7FM, broadcast daily from Gymea TAFE and offers a variety of music with a focus on local artists, authors and musicians as well as local events and businesses. We offer training in broadcasting / media to people of all ages and many of our younger Trainees have gone on to successful careers in commercial radio. 2SSR is a not-for-profit organisation, run by volunteers and paid for by fund raising events and the support of our loyal sponsors and is the only radio station with a focus on the Sutherland Shire.
The artists for our comedy night are the well known Peter Berner, Annie Boyle and Matt Wakefield.
